Prof. Dimitrios Vlachos is the Director of the Laboratory of Statistics and Quantitative Analysis Methods, Industrial Management Division of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. He has been deputy president of his Department and member of the Senate of Aristotle University. He conducts research and consulting in the fields of supply chain management, logistics, applied operational research, combined transport systems management, business restructuring and strategy development. Since 2002, he is Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, AUTh. He has taught the following courses: Statistics, Operational Research, Project Management, Reliability and Maintenance, Production Operations Management and Simulation at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has participated in more than 60 research projects (in 15 of them as a principal investigator) activities in the field of Supply Chain Management, and he has co-authored the respective technical reports. He has published more than 200 papers in scientific journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. He has participated as a consultant or expert in numerous projects funded by public and private organizations. He is a member of the Institute for Operational Research and Management Science (INFORMS), the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and the Hellenic Operational Research Society (EEEE). He is now President of the Greek Association of Supply Chain Management (EEL) and member of the Management Board since 2007. Prof. Vlahos has acted as a business consultant in Supply Chain Management issues in companies.

Georgia is Research Director and Deputy Director of the Hellenic Institute of Transport at Center of Research Technology Hellas HIT/CERTH, with professional and research expertise in: Technology enabled Transport Systems Management, ITS for sustainable mobility & freight Transport & logistics, Operations Research applications in transport & mobility. She holds: a Civil Engineer degree of the National Technical University of Athens, with specialization in Transport Engineering, Maitrise Informatic of University of PARIS VII, DEA Transport of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausees and Engineering PhD form Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is Head of Unit “Intelligent Infrastructure & Demand Management” of the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT), implementing and supervising research projects in the field Intelligent Transport Infrastructure and Transport Demand Management. Accumulating more than 25 years’ experience in European research projects related to sustainable development of passenger and freight transport. She is active in publishing and exploiting scientific research results. Member of the Digital Transport & Logistics Forum (DTLF) of DG MOVE and leader of the Thessaloniki smart mobility & intelligent Logistic living Lab. She is Managing Director of the Thessaloniki Technology Park Management & Development Corporation S.A which aims at promoting innovation, competitiveness and entrepreneurship of the Greek enterprises.

Mr. Apostolos Bizakis, is holding a Diploma in Civil Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, c. 1994) and a MSc in transport (State University of Kentucky, USA c. 1996). In his 25-year career he has worked as a freelance contract-based transport engineer both as prime contractor and as a subcontractor to other consulting firms and research institutes (1996-2002) as well as deputy advisor on transport and ICT matters to Municipal Authorities (1999-2005). Since 2006 he is partner and CEO of TREDIT SA. Within the last 10 years besides his managerial duties, he has worked in numerous projects in the field of transport planning studies, ITS design and Port MIS System integration deployment activities as either a project manager or a key expert. He is currently Vice-President of the Greek Association of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Northern Greece and a member of the Board of Directors of ITS Hellas Organisation.

Anestis Fachantidis is the co-founder and CEO of Medoid AI. He holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning (ML) and taught Machine Learning and Business Intelligence for several years as an Adj. Lecturer in AUTH, Greece. As a data scientist, he has designed and built ML systems for large organizations, including systems for demand forecasting, campaign optimization, and fraud detection.

Mr. Konstantinos Haniotis holds an MSc in Economics from London School of Economics.

He started his career in 1985 as an Investment Banker.

In 2000 he created Telenavis, as a startup focusing on Planning, Executing and Monitoring any route for any purpose. In 2002 created the first TMS platform in Greece, in 2010 created the first Smart Phone application for delivery, in 2019 introduced the dynamic re-routing.

He is President of Telenavis S.A., President of HILME (Hellenic Institute of Logistics and Management) Vice President of ITS Hellas, Vice President of the European Logistics Association.

He has also served and contributed as an expert to a number of Greek and International bodies, as:

• To the Greek Ministry of Transportation in creating and forming the Greek Strategic Planning for Intelligent Transports Systems
• To the Greek Ministry of Research in defining the potential fields for innovation in Mobility and Logistics
• To the EU project under EASME-COSME “Big Data and B2B platforms: the next big opportunity for Europe”
• To the Steering Committee for the development of ICT-innovative projects between Greece – Egypt and Cyprus.
• To the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities and Ambassador of the UAM Initiative in Greece.

Panagiotis's experience in courier services and dealing with the challenges of high-demanding last-mile deliveries further solidifies his understanding of the intricacies involved in logistics operations. This hands-on experience is invaluable in developing effective supply chain solutions and optimizing last-mile delivery processes. Furthermore, Panagiotis's involvement in managing internal operations for various EU-funded programs, including Urbane, Disco, Trace, and Panacea, as well as GSRI projects like Transfarency and project Incompose for M&L mobility cluster, showcases his ability to oversee and contribute to complex initiatives. This demonstrates his expertise in project management and his dedication to driving innovation and growth within ACS.
